Remote Storage DVR

Remote Storage DVR (RS-DVR) enables subscribers to record and play back content from a remote server located in the service provider's network.

RS-DVR offers the same features as DVR. In addition, subscribers can access recorded programs from any TV, perform an unlimited number of simultaneous recordings and enjoy much larger storage capacity.

RS-DVR lowers infrastructure costs for operators. DVR set-top boxes are no longer needed and the last-mile bandwidth requirements are greatly reduced.
